About Dr. Mann

Sunita Mann, MD, is a functional medicine physician at Juvenate Medical Wellness & Rejuvenation in West Long Branch, New Jersey. After practicing radiology for 13 years, Dr. Mann had a life-threatening anaphylactic reaction while performing a procedure on a patient and realized that she would be unable to continue in her specialty without placing her own life at risk.

Dr. Mann’s near-death experience placed her on a journey towards wellness, igniting her newfound passion for helping others manage their chronic disease with functional medicine, which is a more holistic approach to patient care that focuses on the patient’s whole health, not the symptom or disease.

After earning her undergraduate degree in biology at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Dr. Mann went on to complete her medical degree at UMDNJ-Rutgers Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. She then did an internship in internal medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick and completed her radiology residency at UMDNJ-Newark, University Hospital in Newark. Dr. Mann received advanced fellowship training in neuroradiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City

Dr. Mann obtains certification in functional medicine from the Institute for Functional Medicine and has completed training in rejuvenation medicine. She uses her advanced training to perform PRP procedures for joint, facial aesthetics and hair loss.

Dr. Mann’s education and experience in imaging diagnosis provide a perfect background for her role in creating individualized, patient-centered evaluations and treatment plans. She believes that the underlying cause of many chronic diseases may be similar, but the course of action for each patient differs based on their unique genetic predisposition, lifestyle choices, and nutritional factors.

When she’s not changing her patient’s lives with her innovative treatments, Dr. Mann is spending time with her husband, who is also a physician, and their three children.
